Gastric balloon and lap band surgery
Obesity is a serious problem for mankind. It is not just a problem but a root of other problems. There are many solutions for weight loss like dieting, diet pills, exercise and weight loss surgeries. In the same way like lap band surgery, it also requires your commitment to be successful with this procedure of weight loss.
Gastric balloon is the non-surgical way to achieve weight loss. This is also called intragastric balloon. This is a soft, silicone balloon which is inserted in to stomach cavity via mouth and esophagus and it is then inflated. When balloon inflated, balloon takes some space in the stomach which leaves small room for food. So that you consume less calories but feel full in this. Balloon is inflated with the insertion of sterile saline. This is done under anesthesia. After this procedure you feel lack of hunger and you will easily adopt new lifestyle to lose overweight. The whole gastric balloon procedure takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to perform by the team of experienced gastroenterologists. This is considered to be minimally invasive procedure because it doesn’t allow for any surgery.
Intragastric balloon system is reversible and effective system. Balloon system remains in the stomach for a six-month period and after that it will be removed in the same way as it was placed.

Successfully you will lose 15 to 20 kg of weight and it also depends upon how program is going. Cramping, nausea and vomiting are normal and expected side-effects.
