Lap band fills depend on many factors like this is your first time for fill or you have decided for other fill. Most of the surgeon leave band unfilled and decide a time for fill after 4 to 6 weeks. This is time for recovery. After that fill depends on the amount of weight loss you acquire and you and you want to proceed with.
If you want to lose more weight and lap band fill more which restrict the amount of food you eat and if you are losing more weight, then band loosen. So, its all depends on your weight loss requirements.
