Question: re lap band ?
recently i had to have my lap band out. what could have made it slip. i had the realize band. i am so dissapointed. could i have it done again?

Yes it is possible for the lap band to be replaced and in most of the slippage cases surgeon doctors themselves inform about the time after which the band can be replaced. Was your slippage major one? Because only then the band is removed and mostly it is tried to be repositioned. Whereas in case of minor problem band is deflated and refilled after it heals.
So, you need to consult and ask your doctor whether it’s the right time for re lap banding, and this time to get it, try hard to abide by what advised to, such as avoid overeating, eating what asked for this prevents you from vomiting, a main reason for lap band to slip. Other includes overfilled band, surgical techniques etc, well that will be taken care off by the specialists concerned.
