Question: Lap Band and Giving Birth ?
I had the Lap Band Surgery Nov of 2008 and i am now 4 Months pregnant, my band was not tighten therfore i did not need to get it loosened. I will like to know, how soon after i give birth can i have my band tighten for rapid weight loss after the baby?

So far I know it will be within a month or two, but exact period can only be known by the surgeon. Because it depends on several factors, like how far much your weight has increased during this time.
Also, besides that nutritional requirement for the body to feed the baby is also an important concern. Doctors would know that better because it varies and mostly determined on your health.
