Will lap band surgery affects my Menstruation calendar? I am not sure whether Lap band surgery will affect the my Menstruation calendar. Does any ones menstruation cycle is affected by the surgery? I am really concerned about this because the delaying of menstruation really affects my body...

Yes this is true that you feel some affects in menstrual period after Lap band surgery. Many women notice change in regular period. They face the problem of irregular period. Some of the women notice a substantial change in heaviness in flow and vaginal bleeding even if they have not had regular period before Lap band surgery. But these you may take as normal case. It is true at some extent your menstrual cycle may become more regular. Changes of being pregnant become more and more after lap band surgery. You may feel tighter during menstruation. You can loosen your lap band during pregnancy. If you feel bad then do not hesitate in asking to your surgeon.
