Question: Infection ?
My daughter had lap band surgery last year and has done wonderful on it. She is now experiencing a rash over her whole body and doctors can't seem to find out what it is. She's been to dermatogolists, allergy specialists and a few other specialists and no one can tell her what it is. I would like to know if it's possible to be allergic to whatever the lap band is made from?
Answer 1 I think this is very rare case after lap ban surgery. Is it around over the incision part or whole body? if it is around insicion part I'm sure it was a reaction to the adhesive. You can use some sort of creams to treat this. Ask some other physician about this.
