Question: going for lap band at a weight of 200lbs or less than ?
I am overweight with the weight of 190 lbs and my BMI is 34. According to requirement of lap ban surgery, I am not suitable candidate for lap band surgery. But I want to loss my weight. Do you know any case such like this? If yes then tell me what is the result of that and should I go for lap band with weight less than 200lbs.

First of all it is good to go for weight loss solution. You have the right for this. But as your weight is less than 200lbs and also your BMI are 34 then as per eligibility criteria you are not right candidate for lap band surgery. But the weight difference is not so much so you should meet to your surgeon to decide whether you should go for it or not. Do not wait until your weight become 300lbs. Meet today.
