Question: enlarged pouch ?
my stomach/pouch has enlarged greatly, what can i do to decrease it size, i no longer have insurance that covers this procedure making it difficult for me to see the Dr that performed the surger

Pouch enlargement is the long term complication related with lap band. This happen due to some reasons, either your band is too tight or you are experiencing lap band slippage or surgeon hadn’t put band at the right place or you have eaten hard food. This could be due any of the above reasons.
But the solution to decrease the size of band, first meet to your surgeon, if it is possible than completely remove saline from band port or you have to undergo through re-operation to adjust the band at the proper way.
Properly talk with your surgeon and find out a solution. There is no any alternative way then this. If you have no insurance ask your doctor to find out a solution for this……Good luck.
